About

BFCGI

The Business, Faith, and the Common Good Institute exists to promote discussion, collaboration, and research which help understand the relationship between business and faith, and how business can contribute to the common good.

The dynamic activity of business is one of the most powerful forces in society, and when it is directed by faith towards the common good and common interest, it has the potential to have an immense impact on how it may affect culture and society for the better.

The institute focuses on three areas: 1. The Fall speaker series, which brings speakers from across the nation to come speak to our Creigton Community about Business, Faith and the Common Good; 2. promoting institutional development and discussion of how business and faith-informed business can contribute to the common good at Creighton and beyond (in part by conducting our BFCGI Seminar Course each fall for MBA and undergrad students; and 3. Supporting research among like-minded colleagues.

Funding Source: The Institute is currently completely unfunded.  It has no connections to any political group or private interest, and will work to maintain that independence.
