EoC Project Ambassadors/Supporters

The EoC Project has support from many various people, and we are grateful for their support. They help spread the word about the project, and at times attend events to share the work of the Project. Here are some of our amazing Ambassadors:

I’m Gábor Utassy (25), a member of the Focolare Movement from Budapest, Hungary, currently completing my Master’s in Management and writing my thesis on social enterprises and the role of social impact in business.
While doing internships in diverse fields at multinational companies, my volunteer work with various NGOs complemented these experiences by exposing me to people in extremely vulnerable situations and inspiring me to explore how business means can also be used to create real social impact. During my internship at Focolare Media in Los Angeles, I met Andy Gustafson, whose human-centered approach to entrepreneurship strengthened my interest in socially conscious business models and resonated with the ongoing discussions my friend, Péter and I have been having on the connection between business and social purpose.
I’m grateful for the opportunity to collaborate with him and, together with Péter, represent his EoC business at the Economy of Francesco conference in Castel Gandolfo.

My name is Péter Meszéna (23) from Hungary. I am a student of economics in Budapest with interests in alternative economical models, philosophy, christian thinking and the meeting points of these fields. I currently live and serve in a community of volunteers of our Jesuit parish in the heart of Budapest.
I am grateful to have gotten in touch with Andy Gustafson’s inspiring social entrepreneurship and the initiative of Economy of Communion (EoC) through my dear friend Gábor from the Focolare Movement, with whom we have long been sharing the interest of human-centered business.
We are now preparing to participate in the Economy of Francesco (EoF) Global Conference at the end of November 2025 in Castel Gandolfo, representing this EoC project that I personally find exciting and exemplary.
