“What is the Vocation of a Business Leader?”  October 7th Michael Naughton (St. Thomas University)   (Symposium Keynote, Harper Center, 2:30 pm) (reception to follow at 3:30)

Michael Naughton holds an endowed chair in Catholic Studies at the University of St. Thomas (Minnesota) as a full professor. He is the director of the Center for Catholic Studies, which is the oldest and largest Catholic Studies program in the world.  He is the author and editor of nine books and over 40 articles.  He is the keynote speaker at this year’s Business Faith and the Common Good Symposium.

Dr. Naughton played a leading role in the creation of the “Vocation of a Business Leader”, a document created to summarize the teachings of Caritas Veritate (charity and truth), Pope Benedict XVI’s encyclical on the Christian’s place and thinking in economic life.
